Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Atlanta Witch's Ball?
It is a costume ball celebration with food, dancing, vendors, readers and ritual.  It is a chance to dress up in costume and celebrate Samhain with your friends.

Who is North Georgia Solitaries?
North Georgia Solitaries is a group designed for solitaries to get together for social, learning and celebratory reasons and share in their faith and fun.

What does my ticket get me?
Entrance to the ball. There is a buffet of finger-food and a full cash bar.

What do I wear?
How about a cool costume? The more fun, the better. The owner of the establishment has told us that if it is legal, it is fine.

What do I do with my children?
This is a 21 and over event. Perhaps this is the evening to get a sitter.

Why is this event 21 and over?
Due to the incredibly high cost of insurance when you allow young people into an event that serves alcohol, we are not able to allow anyone under the age of 21 into this event.

Will I need to bring money?
Do you want to drink from the cash bar? Do you want to buy pretty things from our vendors? Maybe get a reading? Perhaps a photo in your masquerade finery? Yes, bring some cash. This is a big night out. You'll want to have fun. Also, tickets will be on sale for next year's ball at a one time discounted price. They go up to regular price after this.

What do I do if I drink too much?
We will have numbers for taxi services available as well as handy phones to call them from. DO NOT GET DRUNK AND DRIVE!

Will there be a ritual?
Yes. Ritual will be at midnight courtesy of North Georgia Solitaries. We invite you to participate.

Where can I buy a ticket?
Funny you should ask, click on this link and it will take you to the registration page where you can fill it out and then proceed on to PayPal and purchase your ticket.
